The OCOP Livestream Market session at the 2024 Vietnam Craft Village Fair reached over 150,000 views and 600 successful orders, promoting digital transformation for agricultural products.

HANOI - Following a 3-hour livestream on the 'Chợ phiên OCOP' (OCOP Market Session) TikTok channel, the program recorded positive results with over 150,000 reach, 14,000 concurrent viewers, and over 600 successful orders.
On October 4, within the framework of the 20th Vietnam Craft Village Fair 2024, the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center collaborated with relevant units to organize the 'OCOP Livestream Market' program under the theme 'Elevating Vietnamese Agricultural Products.' The event took place from October 3 to 6 at 489 Hoang Quoc Viet, Cau Giay, Hanoi, aiming to promote craft village products on e-commerce platforms.

The program showcased nearly 30 signature products, including Nam Huy dried fruits, TOPCOCO grilled coconut cakes, COCOOL coconut flower cakes, POPE dried mangoes, Sa Dec dried fresh vermicelli, and Di Muoi fish sauce. The variety and transparent origin of the products at this session demonstrate a strategic commitment to developing digital distribution channels for OCOP goods.
By collaborating with content creators, farmers and producers have gradually become accustomed to modern consumer engagement methods. This is a significant transformation, helping local agricultural specialties overcome the limitations of traditional sales channels and reach customers nationwide.

The success of the livestream with 600 orders confirms the effectiveness of applying technology in agricultural trade promotion. This is viewed as a sustainable development pathway, creating favorable conditions for craft village producers and businesses to enhance their competitiveness in the e-commerce market.
